The Story

The
Story

the one right answer

I grew up thinking there was one right answer.

Study hard.

Get the degree.

Find the career.

Stay on the path.

I was pretty good at following instructions.

Until life started asking better questions.

the moves

So I left home.

Then another home.

Then another.

I've lived in Nepal.

Australia.

America.

Every move felt like starting over.

Every version of me thought she'd finally figured it out.

She hadn't.

the hats

I studied Finance & Accounting.

Then Marketing & Communications.

Then Entrepreneurial Studies.

I've worn a lot of hats.

Operations · Project Management · Finance · Marketing · Technology · Pre-sales · Content Strategy · Design · HR · Strategy

At one point I stopped trying to explain my career.

Now I just call myself…

curious.

the building

Websites · Brands · Processes · Teams · Platforms · Businesses

Now I spend more time building clarity than building things.

Funny how that happened.

the untangling

I've always been drawn to complicated problems.

Not because I enjoy complexity.

Because I enjoy untangling it.

Making things make sense.

Finding patterns everyone else overlooked.

Connecting dots that didn't seem connected until suddenly…

they did.

Those who work with me often think systems and platforms are my obsession.

They're not.

I think in systems because they help people do their best work.

Everything else is just software.

the wrong turns

I've also been spectacularly wrong.

I've overthought projects until they never shipped.

I've spent far too much time chasing perfect when good would've changed someone's life.

I've burned myself out trying to earn permission that nobody was withholding.

Turns out

Done beats perfect.
Every single time.

Progress isn't the reward.

Progress is the point.

It took me years to believe my own advice.

I'm still practicing.

becoming a mother, twice

Then I became a mother.

Twice.

Nothing rearranges your priorities quite like having two little humans watching how you live more than listening to what you say.

Motherhood made me softer.

Stronger.

More patient.

Less interested in pretending I have everything figured out.

It also taught me that some days…

keeping everyone fed, loved, and laughing is enough.

these days

These days…

I write. Mostly because writing helps me think.

I'm working on a book called Done > Perfect.

It's not really about productivity.

It's about permission.

Permission to start before you're ready.

Permission to change your mind.

Permission to evolve.

Permission to become someone your younger self couldn't have imagined.

I produce podcasts.

I help healthcare companies untangle incredibly complex ecosystems.

I build websites I'll probably redesign six months later.

I spend an unhealthy amount of time experimenting with AI.

Occupational hazard.

the contradictions

I'm fascinated by reinvention.

Career pivots.

Second acts.

People who quietly become someone new without making a big announcement about it.

Those stories interest me far more than stories about overnight success.

Maybe because they've been my story too.

I don't think people fit neatly into boxes.

Or job titles.

Or elevator pitches.

I think we're collections of contradictions.

Analytical and creative. Structured and spontaneous.

Confident and uncertain. Ambitious and exhausted.

Professional…

and just the right amount of weird.

slowing down

Lately, I've been learning something I resisted for years.

Slowing down doesn't mean you're falling behind.

Rest isn't laziness.

Saying no creates room for the right yes.

And the version of success I'm chasing today looks very different from the one I wanted ten years ago.

Thankfully.

I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

And for the first time…

that feels less like a problem…
and more like freedom.
